    Pretty packaging but disappointing product

    When I received my bottle of Curly Kiddo Shampoo I was very excited! The packaging is sooo cute! However, the product itself was disappointing. It has a very watery consistency and it didn't feel like it was coating the hair requiring me to use more and more on my daughters long hair. It did leave it clean after using a bunch of it but I didn't notice any change in her curls after using it consistently for about a month. It has a pleasant clean smell that is not overpowering.

    Smells amazing and a little goes a long way!

    A huge thank you to California Naturals for sending me this sample of their Curly Kids Shampoo to try as part of the BzzAgent sampling program. I was super excited to try this product, and when it arrived, I immediately loved the bottle design; it's so cute and colorful. My toddler enjoys playing with it during bath time. The shampoo smells amazing, and I love that you only need about a dime-sized amount because it lathers a long way. The only downside for me is that it left my kid's hair feeling very dry and brittle after rinsing. It's not a big deal if you use a nourishing conditioner, which is a must for curly hair, but I was worried about it drying out his fine curls. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to friends, and I'd love to try their conditioners and other products. I love knowing that it's made from natural ingredients and that I'm putting safe products on my child.

    I was pleasantly surprised by this shampoo. It has a fun watermelon scent that my kids really enjoy, but it's not overpowering and doesn't linger too long after washing. It lathers well for a more naturally derived formula, so a little goes a long way, and it rinses out easily. It leaves hair feeling clean without stripping away moisture, which is especially important for curly hair. After washing, the curls felt soft, bouncy, and easier to manage, with less frizz than we've experienced with some other shampoos. It also didn't leave any heavy residue behind. The only minor downside is that if your child uses a lot of styling products, you may occasionally need a stronger clarifying shampoo to remove buildup. For regular wash days, though, this has been a gentle, effective shampoo that keeps curls looking healthy and smelling great. I'd definitely buy it again.
