Hydrating Lip Balm, Summer Fig

This balm has a funny texture causing excessive dryness.

I have used California naturals for a while and this was a nice little addition to my collection and routine. I enjoy the packaging, smell and nourishment.

I really enjoy the size of the component of this lip balm. The surface area is wider, which makes application a breeze! The Summer Fig flavour is mild, but the scent is lovely and refreshing, though its fruity base would be most ideal in warm weather over cold, if that kind of thing matters to you. But, most importantly, it works! I have extremely dry and dehydrated lips (an issue that is exacerbated in the winter) that peel and chap easily. This is soothing and hydrating enough that I keeps the dry flakes at bay, though I do need to reapply every few hours.

I like how compact this lip balm is. It's so small and I can take it anywhere. The quality is very nice and the scent summer fig is great and very hydrating.

I'm actually really impressed with this. My lips have been super dry lately, and this cleared that up almost overnight. One thing I didn't expect: it actually makes my lips look a bit fuller/plumped up, which is a nice bonus for a natural balm. ​Full disclosure—the avocado scent/taste threw me off at first. I wasn't a fan during the first few uses, but honestly? It grew on me. Now I don't even notice it. Definitely worth it for the results.

This lip balm is super hydrating and long lasting. No scent, natural ingredients, smooth application. It's a key essential for everyday use.

This took almost 2 weeks to arrive, even though I'm only 2 states away from the business. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and guess it had to do with business days & holidays. The lip balm quality seems good, and I like that it's made with all natural ingredients. I ordered the 'summer fig' scent and the package label matches my order, but it smells like coconut. The product description says it's supposed to be "Light, juicy, and fresh. Think crisp melon and that just-rained smell in the middle of summer", which is not what this is at all. If I wanted a coconut-scented lip balm, I would've bought the 'toasted coconut' one. I'll continue to use it, because it's too much of a hassle to return/exchange something that costs less than $10, especially after how long it took to arrive in the first place. Not sure if I'd purchase it again since the scent wasn't as advertised and shipping took a long time.
