Whether you're seeking a place to hit the surf or soak up the sun, here are some of the beaches that we think give LA a bit of it’s identity:

All this sunshine has us feeling back to our usual selves again! With the glorious California weather back, it only felt right to fire out some recommendations on our favorite Los Angeles beaches. Whether you're seeking a place to hit the surf, soak up the sun, simply unwind by the sea, or maybe even all of the above, here are some of the the beaches that we think give Los Angeles a bit of it’s identity:

Leo Carrillo State Park:

Leo Carrillo State Park offers a pristine coastline with expansive sandy beaches, tide pools, and sea caves. It's a fantastic spot for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the coastal trails. You may even spot dolphins or sea lions frolicking in the waves.

Manhattan Beach:

This beach exudes a laid-back coastal charm with its picturesque pier, upscale shops, and trendy restaurants. Enjoy a beachside bike ride, play beach volleyball on the public courts, or indulge in some surfing lessons. Whatever floats your boat (no pun intended)!

Venice Beach:

Zuma Beach:

Santa Monica Beach:

We know it’s a bit cliche but hey, it is indeed a classic spot located adjacent to the iconic Santa Monica Pier. This stretch of beach offers a vibrant atmosphere with a lively boardwalk, street performers, and an amusement park.

Surfrider Beach:

The crown jewel of Malibu's coastline. Apart from the never ending surge of crowds in the lineup, this iconic beach is a surfer's paradise. Located near the Malibu Pier, Surfrider Beach draws in wave riders from far and wide, all seeking that perfect ride. It also offers a stunning backdrop for sunbathers and beach enthusiasts. Surfrider is truly a place where the surf culture thrives…if you can get a parking spot.
